Why no rear fender?

My rear fender right now is a Topeak inflatable, that was deflated and in my bag as the road had dried up from the morning rains.
I would love another Fast Boy fender for the back but Ezra is a bit tied up at the moment.
Oh for some reason that just does not look right. Put it back in MTB mode please!
