Handmade: ZR Cycles

March 12th, 2008 by Arleigh

A little company by the name of ZR Cycles has been popping up across the bike industry.

If you remember a couple months ago I featured Dan’s ZR Cycles here on sixfiftyB.  This bike was one of the first 650b’s I remember seeing that wasn’t from Kirk Pacenti. Four people in two weeks have emailed me various photos from ZR’s flickr site of Zack’s latest 650b mountain bike. The photos are from a tubeset all the way till the final build. What interest me the most are the S&S couplers. My personal ride that is in the works is having S&S for travel convenience. The smaller 650b wheel can fit in a travel case much easier than its big brother of a 29er.

Handmade right in Madison, Wisconsin.
